I'm doing research for police accountability and remember reading about a man only identified as a Los Angelos Police Officer in civilian clothes. In what I read there was a picture of him and a description of what he was doing, which included trying to insight the protests to get violent. If we can find witnesses to this it would greatly help. There was an incident at the Peace Camp early on. It would have been about 25-30 days ago. An article and picture were posted here. Supposedly this guy was from Eugene. He ran over a bike, miraculously not hurting the rider who was a camper.
There also was an article about a guy from Milwaukie who operates or lives above a tavern, IIRC. It was from about the same time. He drives a pick-up and hit or harrassed someone.
He was on 2nd and Burnside on the 20th when I saw him. He was bitching at me and asking if I wanted to go to jail repeatedly. He said I was inciting because I asked him to shut up and leave me alone. I have video tape of this. Who are you and why are you interested again? Oh, and the guy gives his name on the tape. I think it would be really interesting to know whether he really is an LA cop. I have a friend who also has footage of the same guy causing trouble on the 25th. On that day, he had a california driver's license.
