Outside the Frame presents The Lost Boys of Portlandia, a new documentary by and about the real lost children of Portland. A riff on Peter Pan, homeless youth debate if and how to return to mainstream society. Empowered to tell their own stories through film, they move from outside to inside the frame of their own lives - and ours.
Our Film Premiere Gala will feature the short documentary The Lost Boys of Portlandia. We will also screen original film shorts by homeless youth about issues such as drug abuse, gender identity, and the health care system. A Q&A with young filmmakers will follow.
