A Concerned Alliance of Bannerers (ACAB) believes in a diversity of tactics and that each one of us has the responsibility to do something to stop fascism.

Rose City Antifa (no affiliation, but whom we hold in respect) has written some excellent articles on Patriot Prayer. http://rosecityantifa.org/articles/stand-up-call-to-action/
Patriot Prayer has re-branded the upcoming action as a "nonviolent" march. ACAB is trying to raise public awareness that even if Patriot Prayer manages to hold one march in which they do not physically engage with their opposition, their ideals are those of fascism and fascism is not nonviolent. Read Rose City Antifa's article explains this here:

"NAZIS THOUGHT THEY WERE PATRIOTS TOO" hung over the North Bound I-405.
Patriot Prayer creates a platform for white nationalists, the alt-right, Christian fundamentalists and others to harass people of color, queer and trans people, immigrants, Muslims, Jews, and others. Branding hate as patriotism has always been an effective way to rally far-right people to your cause. The American Nazi party in the 30s, post-9-11 harassment of Sikhs and Muslims, terrorizing indigenous and immigrant communities on the US-Mexico border all done in the name of patriotism. We wonder, what would a positive expression of patriotism look like?
"Normal People Fight Fascism Too" hung on the Failing St foot bridge over South Bound I-5.
We believe in normalizing confrontation of fascism and white nationalists. This should not be controversial. Some people confront fascists wearing head-to-toe black with face masks (to prevent identification & doxxing by Nazis and Right Wing trolls); others in street clothes, dresses, or business suits. Street confrontation and self defense aren't the only ways to fight fascism--some do so by helping our neighbors, shutting down toxic websites, marching, offering sanctuary, and other tactics.
"FASCISM IS NOT FREE SPEECH" hung from the Milwaukee 99W overpass.
There is an important distinction between the right to freedom from government censorship within a liberal democracy and fascist organizing. Fascism is a revolutionary political program that seeks to overthrow an existing State and install an authoritarian regime grounded in white supremacist, xenophobic, sexist, and antisemitic doctrines. Early 20th century fascists exploited ideas of open democracy and free speech to propagandize and build an anti-democratic force. This transformed a parliamentary democracy into a militarized authoritarian government, the Third Reich. The alt-right is a textbook fascist movement. We learned in kindergarten that words are actions and threats are no joke: fascist speech and fascist organizing are acts of political violence. This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
"NO TRUMP NO KKK NO FASCIST USA" hung over N bound I-5
We did not design this banner, nor do we know who did. But upon finding it curled up and unreadable, we, A Concerned Alliance of Bannerers, felt responsible to take action and rehung it. We believe the message speaks for itself. Trump and the Klan are the outgrowth of a White Supremacist and colonial history that predates the country itself. The Trump administration and the KKK represent only the latest and ugliest extension of this history.
"ANITFA = AGAINST FASCISM // WE ARE ALL ANTIFA", this banner hung over the in-bound I84.
Here we break down these words and show how absurd are Trump and mass media's misrepresentation of Antifa as some Left equivalent of the most hateful among the alt-right.
Fascists agitate for authoritarian rule, xenophobia, homophobia, ablism, white nationalism, and other forms of violence against marginalized people. Street violence and online harassment of people in these communities are common tactics used to further silence those society already silences.
Antifa means simply, "against fascism." Everyone who disagrees with and opposes nazis, white nationalists, holocaust revisionism, and genocide is by definition "antifa".
"PDX STANDS AGAINST FASCISM" hung over I 205 north bound
Speaks for itself. One need not be able to stand to stand against something. Portland has and will continue to show up and resist white nationalism, fascism, and the far right.
