Letter to comrade Edward (The Road to Information War)
A longer-term view of the tasks of building anti-imperialist and revolutionary organization in the U.S. in the early 21st century:
1. Work to build an open community of activists
2. Develop national reach via the internet (indymedia newswires, email lists, etc)
3. Develop theoretical tools that will allow us to think about and talk about our long-term goal

Taking Care of Your Teeth Naturally
"Modern" society is used to buying everything necessary for oral hygiene in prefabricated, mass-produced packaging. But people all over the world use natural toothbrushes made from plants which contain beneficial oils and properties, growing around them. The precursor to the modern toothbrush was a twig. This article will explore different ways to take care of your teeth and mouth naturally, without paying off a major corporation for those benefits.

Getting Down to the Basics
There is a strong focus in our communities on self-education. This is a great thing except for the fact that many times the most basic parts of education are ignored, creating an incomplete understanding of a subject that leads to serious problems within the community. Such a statement is hard to understand without a clear example. I will illustrate this using my own experiences as an HIV+ person dealing with the ignorance of the people around me. The moralistic reactions of these people will be used as an opening to discussions and critiques of problems in independent and self-autonomous communities.

What an Odd Bird that Elie Wiesel Is!
An Odd Bird To some, Elie Wiesel is a "messenger to mankind." Well, Alexander Cockburn doesn't think so. He said that Wiesel, a devout Zionist, failed as a messenger when it comes to those "victimized" by the policies of the U.S. and Israel. After the first Persian Gulf War, Wiesel gave Dubya's daddy, Bush I, a humanitarian award and called that bloodbath "a magnificent victory!" This supposed moralizer has also been silent about the evils of the Iraqi War.

36 US House Reps Want Bush Impeachment Probe- Conyers not pursuing illegal wiretapping
Who is congress representing? John Conyers introduced this right after the illegal wiretapping revelations

I think that many more congresspeople would sign on if the impeachment resolution was about the illegal wiretapping only. The case for impeachment over illegal wiretapping is cut and dry. Bush admitted to breaking the law on national TV and has said he will continue to do so.

When this information came to light, everyone was in an uproar and the momentum was so moving toward immediate impeachment. Remember Nixon?

When Rep. Conyers introduced this resolution right afterward everyone assumed it was about illegal wiretapping. Conyers and his staff were perfectly capable of adding on something about the recent revelations but chose not to. Rep. Conyers has been speaking out in public forums etc pretending he is pursuing accountability on illegal wiretapping when he has yet to include it. Why not introduce a new resolution since the the other one is only for a committee to investigate Iraq? We don't need a committee to investigate illegal wiretapping because Bush admitted it. The law is clear and he broke it. He needs to introduce articles of impeachment NOW and let WE THE PEOPLE raise our voices in agreement.

Bush is a coward who cannot handle dissent. He would be forced to resign or at least it would slow down his march to Iran. I think John Conyer's is stalling for Bush, pulling a bait and switch. And if he wants to show he truly is the opposition he will introduce a resolution that might actually work. I asked John Conyers about this on a huffingtonpost, and he responded like he was all offended, but did not answer my question about why he has not offered a resolution on illegal wiretapping. He is working for Bush.

John Conyers, Maxine Waters, Barbara Lee had no reason to support the recent "Iran Freedom Support Act" yet they all voted yes. What is up with that?

/end rant
