Inglorious Bastards Film Promotes Terrorism and Torture
Why was the "psychology" of this movie not more considered in reviews? Yes one can quickly retort that it was "just" a movie, and besides artists have poetic license to be free with their work? Well maybe so, but Mr. Quentin Tarantino addresses a serious subject at a curiously serious time, and therefore he invites serious criticism that he and his critics should get—not a Hollywood club giving wide birth if it was meant to promote more guilt or whatever the U.S. film/ review industry silently accedes as OK—that is a film industry that has become part and parcel of a world not unlike that of Joseph Goebbels.

What Obama Isn’t Telling American Workers
A lot is happening in the tumultuous realm of global economics. The "Great Recession" has caused tectonic shifts internationally, with outcomes that will dramatically change the lives of millions of people in the U.S. and beyond. And while Obama is acknowledging this fact with repeated references to "a new world order," he isn't explaining how this adversely affects working-class Americans.

Police State Canada 2010 and the Dark Side of the Olympics
The 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, BC will be the largest security operation in Canadian history. They promise to be a hellhole of police state measures with far-reaching effects that could remain in place long after the Games are finished. Military planners will undoubtedly use it as a template for securing future high profile events. In June of the same year, Canada will host the G8 as well as the G20 Summits.

No Recovery in Sight
After the recent unemployment numbers were announced, smug politicians promising economic recovery stuttered a bit. This wasn't supposed to happen. Mainstream economists were predicting a smooth upswing in employment, but in September 263,000 more jobs were lost, 62,000 more than August.

Obama reacted predictably to the surprise. He first pointed out that "employment is the last thing to recover from a recession," and concluded that "... we are going to need to grind out this recovery, step by step." Brilliant.

There's a new article writing position filled with thoughts from the feral mind of the articulate, rabble-rousing, non-human animal advocate who here wrote a notice to show you this......senselessness WILL probably never be prohibited by the corporate media, (Reinterpreted;) they system lacks the capital that it takes to admit self-defeat.

 http://www.examiner.com/x-23719-Portland-Green-Culture-Examiner

Building a readership is part of the incentive program with Examiner.com, and you too can be an Examiner in any of 109 U.S. cities. Can you write an article that they accept, and submit it, referred by me and then I earned $50 (my slave), and you too can begin referring others to this early stage, well-developed info-source.

Consider, Idea is the staple grain of breathetarians. Not to write about religion, maybe I'd state that God is a real enough idea, or is mistaken to be more than such ordinary insignificance, and has been defined in ways I consider agreeably magical, and in so very many more ways disagreeable. The blog has an unwavering policy for omission of religious commentary.

The U.S. Creeps Closer to a Police State
When word first arrived that the G-20 would be meeting in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, activists began organizing protest demonstrations. Events like this are what freedom of speech is made for. What better occasion to protest than a meeting of the world's 20 top leaders — most of them deservedly hated — where they will be imposing policy on billions of people worldwide?

The majority of protesters consisted of labor and community groups; they encountered an army of police... literally. The New York Times paints an intimidating picture:

If any elements of the corporate media have been paying any attention
to what's been happening on the streets of Pittsburgh over the past
few days I haven't noticed, so I thought I'd write my own account.

There is a popular assumption asserted ad nauseum by our leaders in
government, by our school text books and by our mainstream media
that although many other countries don't have freedom of speech and
freedom of assembly such as Iran or China we do, and it's what
makes us so great. Anybody who has spent much time trying to exercise
their First Amendment rights in the US now or at any other time since

but has little to do with reality.
