This was a thread I originally began at the Pffugee Camp blog. I realize I am again wantonly reposting some of my boilerplate positions on this blog, but nobody responds to my radical proposals, so maybe if I saturate your minds with my propaganda, a few will respond. HOWEVER: The bizarre revelation that comes forth at the end of this latest harangue will quite possibly blow your minds!
No good revolution should go to waste!
What is the point of agitation and revolution if the people have no goals? If people have no specific demands, what should they expect to get? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Obviously the Democrats and the Republicans are are very nearly identical. All the Rush Limbaugh Democrat hating is a giant Psyop, obviously. Limbaugh's deep agenda is just as friendly to the Democrats as his overt agenda is to the Republicans. The American nation no longer really exists — The American Super Psyop has replaced it completely.
I guess no one is interested in my proposal for an Equality party, so we are going to be stuck with yet another Democrat/Republican psyop election. We aren't going to do any damn thing whatsoever? Really? Let me suggest a place to start:
Start by boycotting the lavish bankrolled blogs, like "Think Progress." Only visit the makeshift volunteer blogs, like this one. I deeply regret my former contributions to "Daily Kos", which at first fraudulently pretended to be an independent progressive blog, but turned out to be a front for the Democratic Party. I think the lavish bankrolled blogs use special software to generate fake page visits to spoof search engines and site meters into reporting massive web traffic. Our little blogs must band together to expose and denounce the lavish bankrolled blogs! We need to get our own fake page visit software to drive up each other's web traffic statistics, too. Perhaps I should make use of one of my old dormant independent sites to go live again to resume the battle of the lean against the fat sites.

With revolutions sweeping the Arab world and bubbling-up across Europe, aging tyrants or discredited governments are doing their best to cling to power. It's hard to over-exaggerate the importance of these events: the global political and economic status-quo is in deep crisis. If pro-democracy or anti-austerity movements emerge victorious, they'll have an immediate problem to solve -- how to pay for their vision of a better world. The experiences thus far in Egypt and Greece are proof enough that money matters. The wealthy nations holding the purse strings are still able to influence the unfolding of events from afar, subjecting humiliating conditions on those countries undergoing profound social change.
This strategy is being ruthlessly deployed in the Arab world. Take for example Egypt, where the U.S. and Europe are quietly supporting the military dictatorship that replaced the dictatorship of Hosni Mubarak. Now Mubarak's generals rule the country. The people of Egypt, however, still want real change, not a mere shuffling at the top; a strike wave and mass demonstrations are testing the power of the new military dictatorship.
It's much, much worse than we have been told!
Each of us has breathed 450 "hot particles" so far.

Unions and Environmentalists March to Protect Historic Blair Mountain from Mountaintop Removal Coal Mining
Interview with Kenny King, board member of Friends of Blair Mountain, conducted by Melinda Tuhus
The fight to save an historic mountaintop battlefield site in West Virginia's coal country inspired hundreds of local residents and out-of-state supporters to undertake a 50-mile march in early June that followed in the footsteps of thousands of coal miners who marched the same route in 1921. The miners were demanding the right to join a union -- in this case, the United Mine Workers of America -- and engage in collective bargaining -- demands that resonate today as those rights are under attack in states where conservative Republicans hold power.

A response to "Vegan Rules", which reminded me of authoritative, self-aggrandizing activist egos, such as mine sometimes turns into without me recognizing it. Most recent vegan converts seem to be sorely unaware that the ethics of veganism and straight-edge aren't resultant of Ian McKay and Fugazi and the hardcore music scene, which I earnestly admire and adore. Those roots can be found in ancient, 6,000 year and older, sacred texts from Kemetic, Abrahamic and India's Jainist scripture. For our modern times, this is "required reading" on the philosophy of animal liberation http://www.animal-rights-library.com/texts-m/singer02.htm
Ever since the Great Recession shook the foundations of the U.S. economy, President Obama has been promising recovery. Evidence of this recovery, we were told, was manifested in the massive post-bailout profits corporations made. Soon enough, the President assured us, these corporations would tire of hoarding mountains of cash and start a hiring bonanza, followed by raising wages and benefits. It was either wishful thinking or conscious deception. The recent stock market meltdown has squashed any hope of a corporate-led recovery.
The Democrats fought the recession by the same methods the Republicans used to create it: allowing the super rich to recklessly dominate the economy while giving them massive handouts. This strategy, commonly referred to as Reaganomics or Trickle Down Economics, is now religion to both Democrats and Republicans; never mind the staged in-fighting for the gullible or complicit media.

The end results of a fully integrated continental security perimeter could sacrifice what is left of Canadian sovereignty and independence. This could bring its military, security and foreign policy under the umbrella of a single, U.S.-dominated North American Command.
I wrote this article based on the assumption that many people would
basically enjoy it, but also that it may help some people if they happen

the ones who took it as a challenge.
U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY) has been caught in a sting involving an unwise exchange of inappropriate cyber messages and images with a young ex-US Army enlisted bimbo from Texas who was only too happy to "out" Weiner by sharing his communications with right wing news outlets. This writer never ceases to be mystified that otherwise intelligent men whose service are sorely needed by their nation risk their careers to exchange a salacious email or image with some unimportant and conniving vixen in a chat room.
The United States reached its debt ceiling of $14.3 trillion on May 16 (Reuters). Technically this means the federal government can no longer borrow the money it needs to meet its obligations.
But Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says the government has taken "extraordinary measures" to postpone the final day of reckoning to August 2. That's when the U.S. could start defaulting on its obligations, unless Congress votes to raise the debt ceiling.
WE MUST DELUGE CONGRESS WITH DEMANDS THAT THE CUTS START AT THE TOP...NOT THE BOTTOM, WHERE THE POOR AMERICAN CITIZENRY LIVES!

Under the rules of Islamic sharia, the husband can end his marriage unilaterally by simply announcing the words "I divorce my wife" or "I divorce you" three times. He does not need to justify his decision, nor explain any reason for his divorce and never need to enter a courtroom to end his marriage. Egyptian Muslim women however are denied equal right to divorce. They are trapped in unwanted marriages or left begging for a divorce that can take years to obtain and leave them destitute.
While many deny it, our own government has forced internment of S citizens and resident aliens before. New evidence has shed more light on the egregious behavior of a government sworn to protect the Constitutional Rights of all US citizens.
It appears the law no longer applies to those who deem themselves above it ...
We are watching unfold a financial war of unprecedented scale; whereas the economic situation of the United States is unstable and the dollar could quickly become a worthless currency, the agreement concluded at the G8 and endorsed by the G20, implemented by the IMF in coordination with the World Bank and the international banking milieu whose champion was DSK, is now suspended. The domination of the dollar is intact though more than ever artificial; this dollar that the emerging nations wanted to marginalize, but upon which the US-Israeli military-industrial complex bases its power.

The ideology of globalization is deeply embedded in the corporate structure, mass media, government, as well as in the whole educational system. Together, they are working to shape the minds of the next generation. Students at all levels are being indoctrinated to conform to universal values and standards. Under a new global order, there is no room for sovereignty or individuality.
A North American security perimeter goes well beyond keeping the U.S. safe from any perceived threats. It is a means to secure trade, resources and corporate interests. Under the guise of improving the flow of travel and trade across the border, big business seeks to further control the rules and regulations that govern us. Much like the whole deep integration agenda, regulatory harmonization is taking incremental steps with the goal of achieving a single unified North American regulatory regime.
Here's what i learned from Obama's speech today:
This review is not meant to give you all the typical facts and highlights of the movie. Standard movie reviewers have already presented their perspectives, the basic story line. Whereas this essay is meant to take more seriously what is really a rather stupid plot, but still within a beautiful movie and action packed piece of entertainment, and to speculate how it may fit "within" the too often vacuous audience culture that might watch it, as well as the movie industry that created it and critiqued it. And, granted, it is often presumptuous to interpret a work of art as something that can be criticized as more subjectively serious—but the idea of juxtaposing a fairy tale with CIA operatives is just too tempting to "not" deconstruct.
Look past he Kennedy financed coverup being run by Shriver forces- She always knew about it
KPFA is the flagship station of Pacifica Radio, a progressive network of 5 stations and 160 affiliates. The station and network are under attack from group of insiders who've brought in members of local Democratic Party clubs, and even a prominent Republican.
Sudden appearance of Satellite Dish casts major doubt that this was all real
Obvious political truths are sometimes smothered by special interests. The cover-up of the Democrats' national anti-union agenda is possible because the truth would cause enormous disturbances for the Democratic Party, some labor leaders, liberal organizations and, consequently, the larger political system.
Here is the short list of states that have Democratic governors where labor unions are undergoing severe attacks: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Oregon, California, New York, Illinois, Washington, Hawaii, Minnesota, Maryland and New Hampshire. Other states with Democratic governors are attacking unions to a lesser degree.

Under the rules of divorce in Islamic sharia, a husband has the prerogative right to divorce his wife any time, any place, with or without any reason. Under certain conditions, the wife may request from the religious judge a judicial divorce in case of 'harm' or maltreatment (darar), as stated by the Maliki School of jurisprudence.

I have recently been watching the inner workings of the organizations with which I work. I've always been curious about what makes some groups and some people work so well together, while others fall apart. Recently, I was in a group where several members left under odd circumstances, and yet the group became so much stronger after they had gone. I wanted to know what works, and how to make that happen more! So here is what I have discovered.
The racist sub-text of the neo-liberal political agenda succeeded in creating acceptance of mass incarceration while simultaneously creating the laws and industries to police, prosecute, cage and control millions of people—almost all poor people and people of color. Neo-liberal policies have been in place for more than thirty years. As a result many people are not aware that our current political and economic situation is not the result of a natural course of events, but rather, of a systemically created ideology that has pervaded every aspect of our daily lives.
Obama has stepped up warrantless investigations while claiming to have "killed" Osama which was a complete lie. Will Oregon carry Obama in 2012, or will they have the courage to change?
The development of a low pressure system over the Atlantic would result in the resurrection of the Sahara desert, while at the same time transforming a swath of the deep south in the United States into a perpetual swamp.
