Who supports the troops?
Technical Bifficulties Will people speak out against the hypocrisy of bush sending people to die while simultaneously slashing their benefits? Or the hypocrisy of bush sending people to die while he and the rest of his administration did not have to serve because of their wealth and status? Or the media who is only now, more than 900 days into the presidency, beginning to question bush who lied consistently throughout his campaign, let alone his presidency? Well, at least we can get some laughs out of all of it.

Gospel According to Bush
Bu$h the Christian? There were and are countless conservative talk show hosts acting like huge bellows pumping hot air onto the flaming wreck of the Clinton presidency. No remark, no split hair, no intended action went unchallenged by the piranhas who smelled Clinton's blood amid the foul excrement afloat in the political septic tank. What greater proof is there of the existence of an ultra conservative right wing media blitz than this? Countless millions of tax payer dollars went down the tubes (septic tank) in an effort to bring to light every detail of Clinton's sordid sex life. Yet Bush can make war on the entire world, invade any sovereign country he feels like, kill thousands of innocent people, spit upon the constitution and shred the bill of rights and in the process turn the entire planet against us. Amazingly, there is nary a word of dissent spoke of it in the corporate media. How peculiar but typically American, in the land of OZ. Aside from other fascist states, this odd behavior occurs nowhere else on earth. The American media is so under the control of those in power that it has utterly abandoned its obligation to the people; it is essentially as fraudulently propagandistic as any state owned newspaper in the world's most oppressive self appointed regimes. What is most amazing about this weird behavior is that Bush is getting away with it; and calling himself a Christian in the process!

Bicycles in a Responsible Community
This is a repost due to infiltration by a deep intellectual who felt it necessary to demonstrate with photos where he keeps his brain, unfortunately, it appears from the photo that he has misplaced it and is frantically attempting to locate it. Potentially, he might keep a leash on his brain just as those Hollywood types do when they take their little hamsters for a walk.

Fortunately, this infiltration allowed me to repost the final draft which corrects the glaring errors that were errantly posted with an earlier draft. A special shout out to Brain-in-Butt guy...you're really cool...and good luck finding it.

Here is the summary of the article: The emphasis of responsibility and safety is always placed back on the cyclist. Consider, for instance, that there is no bicycle safety campaign designed to raise public awareness and acceptance of bicycles as traffic. There has never been a media campaign designed to alert motorists to the rights of cyclists on the roadway. Traffic fines never double in areas where cyclists are particularly vulnerable and motorist is invariably impatient, like crossing the Steel Bridge. There is no community forum in which cyclists sit among police as community peers to discuss the needs of the rapidly growing cycling community to protect their safety in traffic. All of these failures to socially recognize the rights of the cyclist as traffic needlessly place the cyclist in greater danger.

True Account of Monday 23 Battle
. . . after the march turned south on 10th it wound up on the west lawn of Capitol Park where it had begun, the marchers began sitting in the shade under the trees. it was pretty hot. The crowd seethed with resentment at the overwhelming police state show of force along the parade route. It was clear to me that nothing was over. suddenly i saw a few black bloc anarchists bolt from the capital steps and sprint south towards N Street. this sudden action instantly stampeded the resentful crowd, and in seconds 100's of demonstrators were sprinting across the lawn for the N street side of the park. i dropped my bike and ran for it.

The Truth About Monday's post march Battle in Capitol Park
we freed the arm-locked black bloc from the cops and ran the police out of the park--- the Suck Bee lies!!!! after the march turned south on 10th it wound up on the west lawn of Capitol Park where it had begun, and the marchers began sitting in the shade under the trees. The crowd seethed with resentment at the overwhelming police state show of force along the parade route. It was pretty clear to me that nothing was over. One 30ish woman sitting near me began shouting: "Wasn't that fun? Excersiing our right to free assembly and petition our government for a redress of grievances through a gauntlet of riot police-- and the tank! the tank was nice!" Her voice broke and she seemed near tears, and the crowd near me, at least, voiced support and agreement. Face it, we'd been humiliated and totally defeated; our message of anti-biotech and anti-genetic engineering had been suppressed; drown out by the intimidating police state show of force. suddenly i saw a few black bloc anarchists bolt from the capital steps and sprint south towards N Street. this sudden action instantly stampeded the resentful crowd, and in seconds 100's of demonstrators were sprinting across the lawn for the N street side of the park. i dropped my bike and ran for it . . .

HEY LIBERALS: WMDs are Not the only Lie used to Justify Wars of Aggression
Here is an excellent article comparing the lies about WMDs used to justifiy Anglo-American aggression against Iraq with the lies about "Ethnic Cleansing" used to justify Anglo-American aggression against Yugoslavia--a war which many Liberals here supported. In both cases, only the pretext (or Lie) is different. The same Liberals like Robin Cook and Claire Short in England, or the Demo-rats here in America, who rightfully criticize Bush's lies about WMD are also guitly of War Crimes themselves. Apparently, Liberals don't mind Wars of Aggression and the lies used to justify them--as long it comes with a guilt assuaging "Human Rights" Propaganda Pretext.
