Political Spam – but GOOD political spam
Why it's important for you to get off your butt and vote for Peter Alexander for Portland City Council. Hey, you gotta use every tool in the toolbox - even electoral politics. Slightly better people in local office can mean a lot more room for direct action and other methods. Still not convinced? How about voting just because it will feel good to punish a reactionary moron? Who? Read on . . .

Possible AFL-CIO Involvement in Venezuela Coup?
In the "bad old days" the AFL-CIO acted as a tool of the CIA internationally. But that was thought to have ended when the "reformer" John Sweeney became President of the umbrella group for almost all U.S. labor unions. Now reports are surfacing that the AFL-CIO may have promoted the recent failed coup in Venezuela by channeling funds from the U.S. government to the reactionary forces that made the coup.

FBI issues 'terrorist' warnings to demonize A20 protesters
It's easy to see right through this particular piece of propaganda. The FBI is issuing this alert so they associate A20 protesters in DC with terrorists, and keep demonstrators away from banks there. Let's watch as the corporate media goes along with it, unquestioningly, like a drugged animal on a leash. We should issue our own "bullshit alerts" when this kind of crap comes out. Okay, I guess I just did, with this post.
